christmas on the internet.

>spend Christmas on /r9k/
>don't even post, just lurk
>can't even bring self to post on most beta board on the Internet

On the bright side, the new USB is shaped like a penguin!

Other bright sides: turkey.

Merry Christmas/happy holidays/season's greetings/etc, everyone!

>:D

I just woke up from a dream of being a SKY PIRATE.

It was so awesome. Also there was a cute guy.

In other news, I got a haircut and now have straight bangs.

so relaxing!

So I spent my entire weekend playing Animal Crossing.

On the bright side, I made three perfect snowmen over the course of two days. Go go my brother's horrible time traveling mistakes!

My DS touchscreen is dying. Maybe I will get a 3DS when it comes out, even if only for Animal Crossing 3DS.

Yes, I am lame.

People, bring your copies over on the 29th. o: I must steal your things. Is anyone else still playing/picked the game back up?

---

Yesterday, we went to The Body Shop at the Eaton Center. They had this spin-the-wheel thing, and my mommy spun 50% off of everything. She's amazing like that. Also, we'd brought coupons that had 50% off of everything (if we spent $40 or more).

So we got $80 worth of stuff for $20. My hands went from looking like they were dipped in chalk and then sun-dried to silky smooth and smelling like cherry blossoms. ♥

I really love subtle floral scents, especially the ones with just a hint of sweetness. ♥ Like moringa/aqua lily/cherry blossoms. o: Lavender, too.

---

My super unrealistic Christmas wish list:

1. A longer holiday, yes. ._.;
2. Better marks! (Effort optional.)
3. New clothes!
4. Ability to eat all I want (and not exercise) without getting fat.
5. Alternatively, willpower to and enjoyment of exercise.
6. More time.
7. GROW TALLER.
8. To quote Sarah, "A guy that's not a completely horrendous human being might be nice xD."
9. Mini frozen cream puffs!
10. A pair of nice flats that actually fit.
11. Pretty high heels! o:
12. A pillow that will not lose its volume when squished.
13. Moneyyyy.
14. To find an actual use for a text plan. :(
15. ... for my hair to stop randomly falling out. Apparently, this involves Vitamin D.
16. Ability to ingest calcium pills without feeling weirdly sick. o-o;
17. A copy of Sims 3. o:
18. A new hairband that I can wear every day, as this seems to be something I am known for doing.
19. To make an amazing gingerbread house!
20. A white Christmas. o:
21. For something genuinely exciting to happen.
22. A box of matches, a candle, and some toothpicks.
23. To improve my vocabulary. o: Wordcount is decreasing.
24. A hug. :)

validation:

je te cherche, s'il te plaît.

sinon, il faut que vous m'oubliiez; i will not anger myself for this.

---

Aujourd'hui, j'ai appris le subjonctif. C'est difficile; il y a trop des exceptions et des verbes irregulières. :(

---

Midol makes me edgy. Maybe it's the caffeine? Caffeine normally doesn't affect me, though... nothing else in it has that kind of side effect. The caffeine dose is above what makes the vast majority of people experience caffeine effects, though, and I probably shouldn't be taking normal adult doses, so that's probably it.

---

Facebook number game results in spam. We seek validation and anonymity at the same time; it's pretty funny.

---

Must not omit articles from sentences.

Must not omit subjects, either.

---

I've been wanting to take up Animal Crossing again; since I have a new file, I still need to open the final store. Someone bring it to the sleepover! Pleaaaaseeee. o: I will put down roads and make my town SUPER SPECIAL LOOKING this winter break. :)

---

The things that are missing from my life are
a) haters
b) sociopaths
c) those pens that write in rainbows
d) my copy of Pokémon Pearl. :(

They must be hiding.

I must find them.

---

No, seriously, where are the enemies? :o If you know anyone who dislikes me, do tell. I'm curious. :( It's not like anyone's making it obvious. It's like some kind of life experience is being missed out on.

Not that that's actually a bad thing, but hey! Adolescence is the one period of time during which it is permissible to fuck up lots and blame it on hormones.

odds and ends

New phone! :D Same number, but texting is now an option. It is amazing and using it to listen to the jazz station is also amazing.

---

There's a new (?) reality show out, called Bridalplasty, where a group of twelve new brides compete to... get extensive plastic surgery. Everywhere.

Reality show producers have the most amazingly sociopathic ideas. I should try and meet one sometime.

---

Revelation of the day: buy capris. Wear as normal jeans. Profit!

(Why do I have such short legs? ._.;)

---

I can't find my copies of Pokemon, Harvest Moon, or Animal Crossing.

Where did they gooo? ;_;

Is the world trying to tell me to grow up? Not until I ACTUALLY GROW, YOU FUCKERS. D:

---

Let's all go shopping after winter break, so we can get together and not be stampeded.

Also, ice skating! :D

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

so.

There really hasn't been anything to blog about recently. Maybe I'll have some kind of revelation soon.

Could someone tell me who knows about our blogs (except us)? :o You've made me curious now.

Formspring is interesting. Anyone else have it?

---

According to one online body fat calculator, I'm 31% fat. According to another one, I'm 11.3% fat. According to yet another one, I'm either 14% or 18.5% fat. If I average these all out, it's about 18.5%... so I guess I'm average-ish?

Yeah. :|

Still trying to find out where that 31% came from.

o-o;

You know how your brain comes up with the weirdest crap when you're in the shower?

Yeah.

(sung atonally, in 6/8 time)

---

oh ocean god, i pray to thee
from endless life, please set me free -
i give myself to the empty sea
that my ghost shall ever wander.

the ceaseless tides shall ebb and flow,
i give myself, for this i know;
for the ocean depths of indigo
my heart grows ever fonder.

so from endless nights and endless days,
i ask of you: take me away -
and in the deep my corpse will stay
as my ghost goes ever yonder.

I now have a formspring.

I should have made some kind of a mattress pun.

Marks.

Everyone is worrying about them. I lost my 100 Accounting average. ;_;feelsbadman.

"Offended" is mostly repeats, meh. Tolerance is built up, anyways. I am immune.

Yesterday, I asked my dad where to get volunteer hours.

He suggested - in these words - "masked vigilante justice."

... nothing happened, really. I bought new boots? They're nice, but the colour is harder to match than before.

---

Renovation is unpleasant. The sawdust everywhere is not exactly doing wonders for my complexion. My room is full of paint fumes, my clothes are inaccessible, and chainsaws are loud. Also, the beveled glass doors were replaced with uglier, non-beveled glass doors. However, the cost will all be recouped when the house is eventually sold.

On the bright side, my window will be able to open after this.

Also, we will be able to PRESS B TO SLIDE WHEN RUNNING. Hardwood flooring is an amazing thing.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

truth:

1. Sometimes I forget to lie. This is important.

2. I think I actually have forgotten how to scream. It's a bit unsettling.

3. There are other things, too, but stabbing yourself in the gut and letting everybody see your inner bits is rather crass.

4. It's important to forget sometimes, but I remember, mostly.

---

Testing the waters: what do you guys think of me hosting a get-together thing over Christmas break? I'm asking now because otherwise I'd be horrible and completely forget.

---

ALSO: HOW OBTAIN BOYFRIEND. :( I am so hopeless and not actually interested in anyone but it seems like it would be fun.

It would also be excellent practice for remembering those important things.

---

If you're high enough, gravity doesn't matter anyways.

what do.

It seems that the more I want to succeed at something, the worse I am at it.

French mark is still dropping. Perhaps I was on hallucinogenic drugs while writing that test and was so traumatized by the experience I forgot about it.

Also worried about English mark. Apparently, over 50% of the class was in the 60-70 range. This does not bode well.

ARCT is still hard, not that it's not supposed to be.

Does anyone know where to get a volunteer job that is not at a summer camp? You would not entrust me with your children (or to them).

No news is okay news.

How are you?

The tests were bad.

Sunday, October 17, 2010

for terrible people.

This is bad and you should feel bad.

---

In fact, it's terrible.

---

What a waste.

Disregard it.

---

In other news, my math average dropped six percent with one test. I was almost impressed.

My French average is also sad. It is even sadder than my math average because it is a c-c-c-combo breaker.

However, what I truly regret to inform you is:
I have failed Lunch. :c

Someone tutor me? It's really hard, I don't get it at all...

---

Really, there's nothing to talk about. I'm posting because I want to get that other thing off the top of my blog.

ARCT is hard. Sonata Pathetique is going to give me carpal tunnel syndrome. Also, the books are ridiculously expensive and I have to buy everything separately.

Nylons are hard to put on and easy to make holes in.

Time is easy to lose but hard to find, much like...

... the gummy bear vitamins that were dropped and ran away. :c I hope they find a better life... under the table... or wherever they are now.

Godspeed, gummy bears. I wish you all the best.

if you're listening

Thank you.

For the times you cheered me up - thank you.

For the times you couldn't - thank you.

For the times we laughed together - thank you.

For the times we didn't -
(for those moments, too - thank you -
for these memories.)

For the things I've learned
and things I haven't, yet -

thank you.

For the sound of your voice, for the comfort of your smile,
            (for every little thing) -

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

and if you can hear me

you've always been welcome, here.

The reason I think I'm invincible is because, statistically, I am.

What it said up there.

Sometimes you can replace "invincible" with "invisible" and it works quite well (against you).

Fill in the blank.

\__/ Bucket list: 0% complete.

Except I kind of splattered beef stew when microwaving it that one time, so maybe it counts as blowing something up...?

If I wrote a lifetime bucket list, it would have "commit arson" on it, maybe.

LIFETIME BUCKET LIST SO FAR (IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE):
1. Commit arson.
2. Be over 5 feet tall.
3. Eat a whole box of tissues in one sitting. Never mind, I don't actually want to do this.
4. Realize that someone I know is actually a sociopath.
5. Run with scissors (again).

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

Bucket list.

Aren't these things usually to be done before you 'kick the bucket' - that is, die?

I think that's the origin of the term, anyways...

---

1. Host a party. :c
2. Go outside. By myself. Without prompting. For over an hour. No, seriously, I don't think I've ever done this before. brb being overwhelmed by own lameness
3. Host... a sleepover...? Or attend one...?
4. Make more friends. :c
5. Come to a revelation without being overwhelmed by own lameness
6. Go somewhere using public transit! By myself! Or walk somewhere by myself. The possibility that I will get yelled at for trying this is very real. This is why I have not done this before, except for that one time I walked home from school by myself and it was so awesome but nobody really cared. brb being overwhelmed by own lameness
7. Finish reading those philosophy books.
8. Go outside on a sunny day using an umbrella.
9. Wear contacts a lot.
10. Get a boyfriend. ... this probably won't happen. :c
11. GROW A FEW INCHES. VERTICALLY THIS TIME, DAMMIT. IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK.
12. Grow a shoe size or two! Would make life much more convenient. And would enable me to look several inches taller.
13. Get highlights again!
14. Learn to curl hair in a way that does not look retarded.
15. Clean room. Dump old stuff for once.
16. Wear over-the-knee socks/thigh-highs more often. 8D
17. Get one of you guys to play Mabinogi with meeee. And/or make actual friends on Mabinogi. :c I can't even make friends online what is this brb being overwhelmed by own lameness
18. BLOW SOMETHING UP.
19. go... swimming? DOES ANYONE WANT TO GO SWIMMING. LET'S GO SWIMMING, PEOPLE.

In conclusion, anyone want to go swimming?

I'm not really looking forward to school. Also, they screwed up my timetable. >:|

However, I am looking forward to the public transit adventure...!

SWIMMING. WANNA GO. ANYONE.

I was going to say some things, but instead, have some funny stories.

My mother is now experiencing the feeling of 'my mom friended me on Facebook, WHAT DO.'

Yes, my grandmother just got Facebook.

She is interested in "whatever she can get."

---

Someone carded my dad at some store (again). He (the clerk) was genuinely confused. I don't understand how; my dad had shaved that day, but, seriously, the guy's balding and has grey hair. He's also forty-three. It is not hard to tell.

---

In the same vein, a window installation guy mistook my dad for my brother. A classmate has also mistaken my grandmother for my mom. (No, not the one that has Facebook. That one looks appropriately grandmother-like.)

---

Does anyone know any good place to get steady volunteer hours? Like... a volunteer 'job'.

---

Anyone like MMORPGs? COME PLAY MABINOGI WITH MEEEEEE IT IS AN AWESOME GAME. 8D If you want I will be lame and post screenshots.

---

Rachel's cruise ship sounded fun. :o I want to go on a cruiseeeee.

Oh, is anyone good with alphametrics? Like...

       THERE
       THERE
      STRIKE
+     THREE
   MATCHES

  SEVEN
  THREE
     ONE
      NIL
+    NIL
ELEVEN

    PLEASE
         USE
         ALL
+  LOWER
    SPEEDS

      SUSIES
      SISTER
       SISSIE
          SKIS
             IN
+    SUSIES
     BIKINIS

Each letter represents a different digit. Same letter equals same digit. If anyone can solve one before I do, I'll buy them a free bubble tea on our epic public transit adventure!

No, I'm not covertly trying to get anyone to do my SMS homework for me because I'm too lazy/stupid to do it myself. What are you talking about?

School tomorrow. D: SUMMER WHERE DID YOU GO.

Also I passed my piano exam with an 82. I now feel guilty, as this was the score I achieved after two years, while other people, after practicing for only a year, were able to achieve high nineties.

Thought of the day.

When I realized I was eating aborted chickens, eggs suddenly became that much more delicious.

---

Yes, that's all.

Monday, August 23, 2010

I'm so bored.

... and there's nothing I want to do.

How do I get out more?

Saturday, August 14, 2010

re: uhm.

I had a post written, but subsequently decided self-mockery would be more amusing.

Thus, here is the condensed version of the post you do not see:

"I am not deep because I am boring lol."

I should have just practiced piano instead; exam's the day after tomorrow.

The weather was nice today.

1. Wait for a completely cloudless blue sky.

2. Go outside.

3. Turn upside-down.

4. . . .

5. We're pretty small, aren't we?

---

How unsettling.

---

The universe is big.

We're stuck on a rock.

The rock is tiny.

The rock dwarfs us.

We suck.

---

In other news, the weather really was nice today.

Being legitimately upside-down really will make everything look about ten times bigger. Ever thought your (room/house/space) was small? Flip upside-down! NOW IT ISN'T.

It also makes everything really trippy and fun. Whee, blood to the head!

A few things.

So I went to A Taste of the Danforth the other day.

It was salty.

Greek food is very salty. Flaming cheese is amusing but expensive. The lamb souvlaki did not taste like lamb, but the potato was delicious.

Crowds are fun, though, when I can see things other than people's backs.

---

Formula pattern scales must die.

Arpeggios must die.

Cadences must die.

Squeaky pedals and off-tune pianos must die.

Mostly the formula pattern scales, though.

---

On the bright side, my Shuckle will be more useful with the release of Gen 5! Yayyyy.

Breeding Pikachu is taking a long time. Stupid Natures. Stupid IV system.

---

Sheet music is expensive.

Maybe I'll start playing an MMORPG again after piano exam...? Or I'll continue with Pokémon... it's pretty boring making battle teams without anyone to actually battle, though.

I think I just got my good Shuckle.

It most likely has a perfect HP IV and has a very good to perfect Special Defense IV. For some reason, it also has a very good to perfect Attack IV. :D

However, its Defense IV may or may not be crap.

Its Bold nature should make up for it, though. ♥

I named it Hucklebery.

It is going to be the best non-competitive Shuckle ever.

Also, I have nineteen other Shuckle, all but one of which have the Sturdy ability and most of which are available for giveaway.

Let's share our thoughts on yaoi!

Or not.

---

So Fandi made a post about her faith and what it means to her, and she had some questions that she wanted answered. And, since Fandi cares about it, I'll try to swear less on this blog. ♥ Fanderson's such a good person. ._.;

---

Please consider anything beyond this point merely a matter of my opinion. A-and please respond to it in some way or other? I don't want to be shouting into empty space. Feels bad, man. ;_;

---

I think that 'reality', 'good', 'justice', 'belief', 'love', even for the sake of argument 'profanity', etc. are subjective concepts. They're individual to each person. The common definitions of these terms are thoughts consciously or subconsciously agreed upon by a number of people and then perpetuated throughout a society. To paraphrase this: the law is not considered just by everyone; I'm not you. My justice is not your justice is probably not the justice of extremist (fill-in-your-desired-plural-noun-here).

Similarly, these concepts change over time. In first grade, 'dumb' was a terrible word and the worst thing you could call anybody. Now it's just a word used to describe something you mildly dislike. The justice of five hundred years previous is different from the justice now.

A person can only understand their own concept of reality, so I accept my reality as mine, and yours as yours. These things might change, and they might not. If you think you exist, you might as well. That's how it is.

---

About Christianity/religion in general?

It's something that other people believe in. To me, religion is something interesting both in theory and in practice, but it's not how I define my reality. If you're religious, I respect your willpower and faith and I'll try to sympathize with your viewpoint. (To clarify: "if you're religious, that's cool. If you're not, that's cool. If you don't know, that's cool.")

I understand that your 'reality' is not mine. To you or perhaps a third person, the non-religious might really be in need of salvation. For you/third person, that's how it is. I'm fine with that. I'm not you, after all. (Probably.)

About Fandi believing in Christianity?

Well, her general view on life seems brighter now. If it's made her happy, then that's good. Fandi's choice is Fandi's choice.

Faith discussion?

I find it interesting and would appreciate learning more. Enthusiastic people are fun to be around. If it gets awkward, it's not you, it's me and my lack of social skills.

It would be fun to meet some of the (apparently really nice) people from Fandi's church, but if the event is explicitly very religious, I just think someone else would be better able to appreciate it. ._.;

You don't have to feel anxious. Also, anxiety leads to stress leads to heart attacks and Fandi dying of stress would be terrible.

---

tl;dr I am a waffle who waffles and is never offended.

---

On a lighter note: anyone want a Shuckle? I have 19, with more on the way. Of the current 19, all but 2 of them are protected against 1-hit KOs. All of them have natures that don't inhibit Defense and Special Defense growth, and I know at least one has a perfect HP IV.

No, seriously, I'm giving them away. The one I'm trying for is a Bold Shuckle with ability Sturdy, perfect HP IV and decent Def/Sp. Def IVs. It's going to take a while and I have a lot of Shuckle even when keeping about 1 out of every 5 ones hatched.

I want Pokemon friends. Bert doesn't play (he would be a scary Pokemon competitive player, would probably IV breed, abuse the RNG and everything) and Clarence ragequits.

"Nobody checks here"

... should be an injoke.

Whenever anybody says this, everyone else pops in to contradict them.

---

Rachel's right about the poisons and burns.

I want an Eeveelution team. It might not be the strongest or the most balanced, but it would be the most adorable. Garchomp and Empoleon get painful to look at after awhile.

Why are Ditto so rare? I'm using the radar and everything, but all I get is stupid Floatzel. Am I doing something wrong?

Shuckle breeding is taking a long time.

---

Yesterday, our car exploded, so we had to call CAA and a tow truck.

Okay, it didn't explode.

The axel of the front wheel broke off. Luckily, we were not yet on the highway at that point and were instead on a quiet suburban road.

So everyone was alright, mostly.

The only casualty (except for the car) was me, kind of, because I gained five mosquito bites while waiting for my dad to pick us up. If I hadn't been wearing jeans, I would have had more.

I will never go camping. The mosquitos will eat me alive.

Fucking mosquitos.

Everyday life, I guess.

I wonder what the world would be like if it was squishier, and everything was softer and moldable and, well. You could squish it.

I guess I'd like it because it would give me at least an illusion of control.

Oh, and our bones would be weaker, but that's that.

---

I will probably pass my piano exam this time around! I passed the mock exam with 66.5%, which is... terrible, actually.

Well, you can't have everything.

As a result of this, I am now able to violate copyright law and listen to classical music illegally.

Yay, illegal classical music. Next thing you know they're going to send the classical music mafia after me.

They'd be snazzy-looking, too, in their pristine black suits and little bow ties! And they'd be known for their outrageous level of violins. And for blowing their instruments really skillfully...

. . .

... that tangent is stopping here.

---

I want a Shuckle. It will know Rest, Substitute, Toxic, and Stealth Rock. It will be perfectly EV trained in HP and have the remainder of its EVs split between Defense and Special Defense.

It will wall everything, except for poisons and burns.

IV breeding is way too troublesome, unless I find some way to figure it out. For one thing, there isn't even a reliable method to figure them out...

---

I'm still holding out for a squishier world here.

A change would be nice.

some things I have wanted to say for a while but unfortunately this is reality

This started out serious, but it kind of devolved:

4. I'm sorry I lied.
5. I'm not sorry I lied.
6. Well, yes, I lied. Who wouldn't?
7. I'm happy you didn't notice that I lied.
8. I'm disappointed that you didn't notice that I lied.
9. It's kind of funny that you didn't notice that I lied but I'm lying right now so it would be rather strange to laugh.
10. I LIED, MOTHERFUCKER.

... yeah.

Maybe I'll try again next time.

I am either content or bored.

Because, really, what's the difference (if you think about it enough)?

I should probably get a hobby. Any suggestions? (Disclaimer: I have no talent at photography, sadly. Believe me, I've tried.)

Writing is embarrassing. It's kind of like letting other people peek at your internal organs, except sometimes you lie about it and dye them purple or something to make them more exciting beforehand.

I've passed Careers and also Civics, probably, but am rather more doubtful about my upcoming piano exam.

I need to get out more. Somebody take me somewhere. ._.;

Oh, and I watched Despicable Me yesterday! It was good, although I admit I liked the beginning the best. The minions were pretty cute, but 3D kind of makes my eyes hurt.

My everyday life is kind of boring, isn't it? I should host a party and upload some pictures, or something. I heard that's all the rage nowadays.

---

So I met a guy whom I will call Smile online yesterday. He is apparently from England, apparently seventeen and kind of cute, and apparently a stoner. He also has some knowledge of Pokemon and apparently played the original Gold.

Unfortunately, he calls himself "depressive" and seems as easily impressed as everybody else. On the plus side, he gave me ten brownie points and told me about his textured wallpaper and pet traffic cone.

The traffic cone was kind of odd.

Since he admitted to having sociopathic tendencies and shows some common slip-ups in his presentation of himself online, he's most likely a normal, sane person who just happens to have a pet traffic cone and writes on his wallpaper in permanent marker.

Otherwise, he's a really fucking smart sociopath.

I love the Internet.

so I didn't think you would notice this.

If you did, thanks, I guess.

So, um, we might as well start. I'm not very good at expressing myself honestly, but it's so easy to lie.

But in light of all the uselessly sentimental (you're lying, aren't you? You always are, and stop it I can see straight through you it's disgusting how you all act - ) revelations that have been posted recently...

... I don't know. See, I told you so, it would be better if I lied. "I love you guys all so much." "You mean the world to me." Feed them the lines and they'll spit out the results. It's so predictable, except for when it isn't.

Maybe I'm a sociopath, but probably not. This normal, right? Normal, it has to be, that's how I am...

... so I think it would be better if we just - we're all just growing up.

Because it can't be helped.

That's how it is.

- because it would be better that way. It's fine, right?

We can still change.

Help.

---

Disclaimer: The above was all a lie. This was a social experiment. I'm just bored, really. Really. (Any resemblance to persons living or dead is coincidental and should be ignored, and I'm sane in reality you should see me in real life I am the sanest and most honest person you will ever meet this is not a lie.)

um. Really. No. Seriously. I'm sane. And, uh. Honest. In real life. Really, so. Yeah.

---

Happy, uh, August Fool's?

I have absolutely no excuse for this.

Monday, July 26, 2010

It is today,

as it usually is.

So today
was okay.

Oh, look, a poem.

I should probably work now.

That was useless.

Sunday, July 25, 2010

Hello.

I deleted the old blog because I no longer like it.

I started a new blog due to a surplus of inexistant spare time.

It is summer vacation.

I think I am failing Careers.

I must play the piano.

For now, that will be all.
